The meaning of the numbers above the steel bar
From left to right is a four-part combination of a number + a letter + one or two letters + two numbers.
The number in the first part is one of "3, 4, 5", which represent the strength levels of the steel bars with yield strengths of 300MPa, 400MPa and 500MPa respectively.
The letter in the second part is a description of the type of steel bar. If the letter in this position is empty, it means hot-rolled steel bar, K means waste heat treated steel bar; C means fine-grained steel bar; E means earthquake-resistant steel bar; W means weldable steel bar.
The meaning of one or two letters in the third part is the steel factory that produces steel. For example: AY is Anyang Iron and Steel, CG is Chengdu Iron and Steel, T is Tangshan Iron and Steel, X is Xuanhua Iron and Steel, and HG is Handan Iron and Steel.
The two digits in the fourth part represent the diameter of the steel bar, 6-50mm.
